Originally when this car came out of the Rauh Welt workshop in Noda it was white. However, after the owner required a color change, Nakai-san decided to do something completely different and came up with what has to be one of his most original matte finishes.
Behold the Master Piece. There was no way I was going to leave Tsukuba after the RWB Meeting in January before getting a couple of shots of this camo 930 widebody.
This is one Porsche that just screams look at me!
If you don't look closely enough you might miss the RWB logo stenciled into the hood.
Like most of Nakai's complete cars the Master Piece rides on SSR Professors, 10.5Jx18" front and 12Jx18" at the rear. Hankook Ventus TD semi-slick tires are used at all four corners, 265/35R18 front and 295/35R18 rear. AP-Racing 4-pot calipers are fitted up front to help shave speed off efficiently and consistently on track.
The Turbo spoiler is fitted with a high-mounted banana wing, a detail Nakai-san likes to use for the more track-oriented cars he builds.
The 930 looked almost surreal against the winter sunset.
It's all business inside with only the essentials present: 1x Recaro bucket seat, 1x Momo steering wheel, 1x Lap timer
Is this one of Nakai-san's best creations? That is impossible to say as I think I have never see a Rauh Welt Porsche which I haven't liked. One more to add to an ever-growing list of masterpieces then...
